Background / Significant Events / Time LineTristandra was born in the Steppe. As a Geneq, she was taught how to speak to Beasts and communicate with animals.Growing up, Tris was taught how to cook, clean, and prepare for life as a mother and house wife. Tris had two sisters and one brother. Her mother was a Shaman and her father was a Hunter. Tris was set on the path to follow in her mothers footsteps and become a shaman.19 - Wed to a Xaela named Demishtarr Geneq20 - Tris was banished with her husband, Demishtarr, from the Geneq settlement after a attack of Dotharl rolled through killing many Geneq. Though the details are not clear why Tris was banished, her husband left with her. Tris does not speak of this incident very much, and only few close know the details.20 (Later) - Demishtarr dies on a voyage to Eorzea with Tris. Shortly, Tris first child, Nico, is stillborn as well. It is speculated by Tris her husband shared what little food he could when they were in transit as stowaways from the Ruby Sea. Due to small space on the ship, his body was dumped at sea and never given a proper burial.21 - Tris meets [Redacted]. Together, they help glamour and disguise Tris Xaela appearance and she is snuck into Ishgard.21-31 - The next ten years Tris is warded into House Sunderer. A wealthy artisan family. Tris disvows her Geneq name completely. During this time, Tris learns to read, write, fight, dance, sing and blacksmithing. She has participated in multiple campaigns in the Dragonsong War, having been stationed in Falcon's Nest and Camp Riversmeet. Tris during this time took extremely dangerous, reckless and suicidal jobs.She gained the nickname 'The Crimson Moon' for her blood tactics and using corpses of the fallen dragons to draw in more of them to be slaughtered. This is something to this day she regrets.It was rumored she was trying to get herself killed but for some reason was unsuccessful. It is not completely clear why she took these jobs, but it is speculated it was to keep her away from others and her mind clear from her late husband and child. Tris rarely, if ever spoke during this decade of her life. Developing a closed off personality and connection to herself during these years.Current - Tris now owns a business called the Eternal Flame. She lives happily with friends and family.
